What is collected
- Visits. Google Analytics counts visits and shows which articles are read. It sets cookies in your browser and processes data on Google’s infrastructure. Nothing is loaded before the consent banner is accepted, and the choice can be changed at any time.
- Messages. An email sent to this site, and the address it came from, are kept for as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of any correction.
- Server logs. The host records the usual technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
- Outgoing links. Some links to vendors pass through this site before reaching them. The redirect records that a click happened and which article it came from. It does not identify you. The commercial arrangement behind those links is explained on the Affiliate disclosure page.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Messages are kept as long as the exchange is useful. Logs follow the host’s own retention.

Your rights
You may ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to contact@kalytia.com. If the answer does not satisfy you, a complaint may be filed with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
